SLAM DUNK &

3-POINT CHALLENGE RULES

3-POINT RULES

The DREAM LEAGUE 3-Point Challenge contestants will have 60 seconds to sink up to 25 three-pointers from five shooting stations assembled around the three-point line. The first four balls at each station will be worth one point each and the fifth ball at each station will be considered the MONEY BALL which will be worth two points. The shooters will compete in two rounds of action with the top two (2) scorers from the first round advancing to the second and final round.

The Men's & Women's Champion from the DREAM LEAGUE Fan Challenge will have the opportunity to compete against the DREAM LEAGUE Men's & Women's 3-Point Challenge Champion in a one round event.

SLAM DUNK RULES

FORMAT

Round 1:  Contestants have 30 seconds to complete a dunk. If you fail, keep trying for a successful dunk before the clock runs down to 0:00.  Round 2 and Round 3: will have same format as Round 1. The judges will score each round and may deduct points for each failed attempt in a round. You will have 3 rounds and your scores from all 3 rounds will be totaled by the panel of judges. Judges will score each round on from 5 (lowest) to 10 (highest). Your score will be the total score from all judges for all 3 rounds.

DISQUALIFICATIONS

Participants cannot hang on the rim, or use the rim as leverage to pull themselves up with one hand while dunking with the other.  Chairs or any other type of props (for safety reasons) cannot be used.

TIE-BREAKERS

If the top 2 or more contestants are tied after 3 rounds, then a tie-breaker round will occur until the tie is broken. Like the 3-Point Challenge, your score in the tie breaker round stands alone and you cannot use your prior best scores from earlier rounds.

The Player with the highest composite score of the dunk in Round Three will be crowned as Champion of the Slam Dunk Challenge.
